Only half a month short of his 65th birthday celebration, Bernard McGuirk, co-host of Bernie and Sid Toward the beginning of the day, died Wednesday night from prostate malignant growth.
Since April 2018, McGuirk has co-facilitated Sid Rosenberg’s Bernie and Sid Toward the beginning of the day on WABC.

McGuirk had been working for WABC as the Imus In the first part of the day Show’s Chief Maker beginning around 2007.
Since its later years at WNBC Radio, McGuirk has been a piece of the Imus In the first part of the day program.
He moved to WFAN Radio in New York City in 1988 and remained there until 2007 with Imus. McGuirk was an individual from the Imus staff when the program went cross country in 1993.
McGuirk, who was born in the Bronx in New York City in 1957, went to the School of Mount St. Vincent. His better half Carol and their two youngsters, Brendan and Melanie, are as yet alive.
